If you're looking for no frills/good times, go to Conger Muni. We weren't sure what to expect here, but have gone twice now and will go back again! The bartenders were quick and friendly both times, and the food is good (this place has fresh pattied burgers!). Drinks were cheap and the people actually talked to us (unlike many smaller places, where they look at you like you're an alien). If you're stopping at the store, the prices are fine. $1 or 2 higher than a big liquor store, but you're not getting totally screwed. It is an older building with a "spend wisely" ethos, but I didn't notice anything dirty (glasses, plates, silverware all clean).
